Terms and Conditions
Version 1.1 · in force since 19 August 2026
In short
We sell new computer equipment with manufacturer warranty. You can cancel before dispatch. Payment is charged in meticais. If something arrives wrong or damaged, tell us within 48 hours and we will put it right.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
These terms govern the purchase of products from isptech.africa. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them before you pay - they were written to be understood, not to be skipped.
1. Who we are
ISP Technologies Unipessoal, Av. Samora Machel 160, Baixa, Maputo, Mozambique. Contact: +258 856486105.
Throughout this document “we” means ISP Technologies Unipessoal and “you” means the person or entity placing the order.
2. Scope and acceptance
These terms apply to every order placed through the site. By completing an order you confirm that:
- you are at least 18, or acting with the authorisation of someone who is;
- the details you have given are true and complete;
- the phone number and payment method you use are yours, or you are authorised to use them.
We record which version of these terms was in force when each order was placed. That version governs that order, even if this text changes afterwards.
3. Products, specifications and images
We sell new equipment only, unless a product page states otherwise clearly and prominently.
Published specifications are those supplied by the manufacturer or the distributor. We work to keep them accurate, but manufacturers change components without notice - memory, storage or power supply can vary between production runs of the same model. If a difference matters to your decision, ask us before ordering and we will gladly check the actual unit in stock.
Photographs are illustrative. Accessories visible in an image are included only if they appear in the stated box contents.
4. Prices, currency and pricing errors
All prices are shown in meticais (MZN) and payment is charged in meticais. If you choose to view prices in rand (ZAR), that figure is indicative only, calculated at an internal reference rate, and is not the amount charged.
Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and exclude delivery, which is shown separately before you confirm the order.
Pricing errors. Where a product is published at an obviously incorrect price - through a data-entry slip, a technical fault or a conversion error - we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you before processing the order, and you may either confirm at the correct price or cancel at no cost. If you have already paid, we refund in full.
We may change prices at any time. A change does not affect orders already accepted.
5. Availability and stock reservation
Stock shown on the site reflects what is in our warehouse at the time you look.
When you place an order, stock is reserved for you immediately and becomes unavailable to other customers while we wait for your payment. If payment is not completed within the applicable window (see clause 7), the reservation lapses and the product is released.
If, after accepting an order, we find an item is not genuinely available, we will tell you promptly and offer to wait for restocking, substitute an equivalent, or refund in full. The choice is yours.
6. Your order and our acceptance
The order you place is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance, which happens once payment is confirmed and we send you the order confirmation.
We may refuse or cancel an order, giving our reason, in particular where:
- the product is not available;
- there was an obvious error in price or description;
- we cannot validate the payment or delivery details;
- there are reasonable indications of fraud or unauthorised use of a payment method;
- the delivery address is outside the area we can serve.
If we cancel an order that has been paid, we refund in full.
7. Payment
We accept M-Pesa, e-Mola, Mkesh, Visa/Mastercard and bank transfer.
Mobile wallets (M-Pesa, e-Mola, Mkesh). You receive an authorisation request on your handset and have roughly three minutes to approve it with your PIN. If you do not, the attempt expires and the stock is released. You can try again.
Card. Processed by our payment service provider. We do not receive, see or store your card number or your PIN.
Bank transfer. Available mainly to business customers and higher-value orders. Stock is held for 48 hours awaiting the transfer. A proof of payment you send us - a photograph, a screenshot or a receipt - is not on its own confirmation of payment. The order becomes paid when the funds are identified on our bank statement. This protects both sides: it is the only check that cannot be forged.
Payment must be complete before dispatch. We do not offer cash on delivery.
8. Delivery, timescales and risk
We deliver throughout Mozambique. The delivery charge is calculated and shown before you confirm the order.
Stated timescales are good-faith estimates in working days, running from confirmation of payment. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, weather, road conditions, strikes, customs procedures, or addresses given incorrectly or incompletely by you.
You are responsible for providing a correct address and a reachable phone number. Failed deliveries caused by wrong details, repeated absence, or refusal to accept may incur a further shipping charge.
Passing of risk. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the product is handed to you or to a person you have nominated at the delivery address.
9. Checking your delivery
Inspect the packaging on delivery, with the courier present where possible.
Visible transit damage, tampered packaging, a wrong item or missing contents must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the packaging and the product. After that it becomes impossible to distinguish transit damage from damage in use, and the claim may not be accepted.
Reports made within the window are resolved at our cost: we replace, repair or refund.
10. Warranty
All new products carry the manufacturer’s warranty, whose duration is stated on the product page or in the documentation supplied with the equipment. It is never shorter than the legal minimum.
The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects. To claim, contact us with your invoice and a description of the fault. Depending on the manufacturer and the nature of the defect, the equipment is repaired, replaced or refunded.
Your rights under Mozambican consumer protection law remain in full and are not excluded or limited by these terms. Where a clause here conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection rule, that rule prevails.
11. What the warranty does not cover
- normal wear, including the natural decline in battery capacity;
- damage from drops, liquids, fire, damp, sand or corrosion;
- damage from voltage fluctuation or unsuitable electrical installation - we strongly recommend a stabiliser or UPS;
- damage caused by software you installed, by viruses, or by incorrect configuration;
- equipment opened, modified or serviced by anyone not authorised by the manufacturer;
- a serial number removed, altered or made illegible;
- consumables and wear parts, such as ink, toner and drums;
- loss of data, whatever the cause (see clause 14).
12. Returns and exchanges
Before dispatch. Cancel at no cost; we refund in full.
Faulty or non-conforming products. We replace, repair or refund under the law and the warranty, at no cost to you.
Correct products with no fault. We accept returns within 7 working days of delivery, provided the product is unused, complete with all accessories, in its original undamaged packaging, and any accompanying software licence has not been activated. Return shipping is at your cost. If the product has been used, shows signs of use, or arrives incomplete, we may refuse the return or deduct the corresponding loss of value from the refund.
We cannot accept returns of: software whose licence has been activated; opened consumables; products configured or built to order at your request.
Refunds are made by the same payment method used for the purchase, within 15 working days of the return being accepted.
13. Software and licences
Software supplied with equipment is governed by the manufacturer’s own licence terms, which you accept on installing or activating the product. We are not a party to that licence and are not responsible for the software’s operation.
An activated licence cannot be returned, for reasons outside our control: activation is irreversible at the manufacturer’s end.
14. Data held on equipment
Backing up your data is your responsibility alone.
Before handing over any equipment for service, warranty or return, copy everything you need and remove your accounts and credentials. Repair and diagnosis frequently involve reformatting the drive.
We are not liable in any circumstances for loss of data, files, photographs, databases or configuration, nor for the cost of recovering them.
15. Limitation of liability
We are liable for loss arising directly from our failure to meet our obligations, up to the total amount paid for the order concerned.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of data, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, even if we were told such loss was possible.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by us, or anything else the law does not permit us to exclude.
16. Business customers
On sales to businesses, installers and resellers - that is, where the buyer is not acting as a final consumer - consumer protection provisions do not apply and the limitation of liability in clause 15 applies to its fullest extent.
In those cases you are responsible for confirming, before ordering, that the equipment suits your intended purpose. We give no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose unless you told us that purpose in writing and we expressly confirmed it.
17. Use of the site and intellectual property
The content of this site - text, photographs, trade marks, logos, product descriptions, guides and the arrangement of the catalogue itself - belongs to ISP Technologies Unipessoal or to its respective owners and is protected by copyright and industrial property rights.
You may view, print and share this content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy it for commercial use, systematically extract the catalogue by automated means, or resell or republish the content without written permission.
Using the site for unlawful purposes, attempting unauthorised access to our systems, or deliberately overloading the infrastructure is prohibited.
18. Fraud prevention
We may suspend or cancel orders showing signs of fraud, and request additional identification before dispatch, particularly on high-value orders or where the delivery address differs from that of the payment method holder.
Fraudulent use of payment methods is reported to the competent authorities and to our payment service provider.
19. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, cyclones and flooding, epidemics, conflict, acts of public authorities, prolonged power or telecommunications failures, and outages of the mobile money networks or banking systems.
Where this happens we will tell you and agree a new timescale or refund you.
20. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version that applies to an order is the one published when the order was placed, and that version is recorded with the order. Later changes do not apply retrospectively.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Mozambican law.
We would always rather resolve a problem directly and quickly - please contact us first. Failing agreement, the courts of the City of Maputo have exclusive jurisdiction.
If any clause is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder stays in full force.
