Privacy Policy
Version 1.1 · in force since 19 August 2026
In short
We collect the minimum needed to deliver your order: name, contact and address. We never see your PIN or card number. We do not sell your data and we run no third-party advertising or tracking on this site.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can require of us.
It is written in plain language and in full. If anything is unclear, ask us.
1. Who handles your data
ISP Technologies Unipessoal, Av. Samora Machel 160, Baixa, Maputo, Mozambique. Phone and WhatsApp: +258 856486105.
2. What we collect
What you give us. Name, phone number, email address (if you provide one), delivery address and any delivery notes. For business orders, the company name and invoicing details.
Order data. What you bought, when, for how much, the payment method chosen and the status of the order.
Proofs of payment. If you pay by bank transfer and send us a proof, that file is stored with the order. It may contain your banking details - treat it with the same care as a statement.
Technical data. IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visited.
Searches and browsing. We store the words typed into the search box and a view count for each product. We do this to learn what customers look for and fail to find, so we can decide what to stock. These records are not linked to identified people - they are aggregate counts of words and pages.
What we do not collect. We do not collect or store card numbers, security codes or PINs. Those are entered directly into the payment provider’s system and never pass through our servers. We collect no health data, no biometric data, and no other sensitive categories.
3. Why we process it
- To perform the contract: processing and delivering your order, taking payment, providing support and warranty service.
- To meet legal obligations: retention of tax and accounting records.
- Legitimate interest: preventing fraud, keeping the site secure, and understanding what customers search for so we can improve the catalogue. We have weighed this against your rights and kept it to the minimum needed.
- With your consent: when you contact us on WhatsApp or expressly agree to receive information from us.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use only cookies necessary for the site to work:
| Purpose | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Session | Identifies your browsing session |
| Cart | The products you added, before checkout |
| Theme | Whether you prefer dark or light mode |
| Language | Whether you prefer Portuguese or English |
| Security | A token preventing forged form submissions |
We use no advertising cookies, no ad networks, no social media pixels and no third-party analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no equivalent. This is deliberate: beyond the privacy question, each of those scripts consumes mobile data the customer pays for.
The statistics we do use are computed from our own database and never leave our servers.
5. Who we share with
We share only what is strictly necessary, and only with:
- Our payment service provider, to process the charge. It receives the amount, the order reference and, for mobile wallet payments, the associated phone number.
- Couriers, who receive the recipient’s name, address and phone number in order to deliver.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf and on our instructions.
- Public authorities, where legally required or to defend our rights.
We do not sell, rent or pass on your personal data to third parties for marketing. Ever.
6. How long we keep it
- Order and invoicing data: for the period required by Mozambican tax and accounting law.
- Proofs of payment: for the duration of the commercial relationship and the applicable claim period, after which they are deleted.
- Account data: while your account remains active.
- Search terms and view counts: indefinitely, as they identify nobody.
7. Your rights
At any time you may:
- find out what data of yours we hold;
- correct data that is wrong or out of date;
- ask us to delete your data, except where we are legally required to keep it;
- object to particular processing;
- obtain a copy of the data you gave us.
Contact us using the details in clause 11. We respond within 30 days at the latest. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing information - that protection is in your favour.
8. Security
The site runs entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes and are not readable by anyone, including us. Uploaded proofs of payment are not reachable at a public address: only authorised staff can open them. Administrative access is limited to staff who need it.
No system is perfectly secure. If an incident occurs that significantly affects your data, we undertake to inform those affected as quickly as possible and to describe what happened and what we did about it.
9. WhatsApp and communications
If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, over which we have no control. Do not send anything you consider sensitive by that route.
We use your contact details to deal with your order. We send promotional messages only if you have agreed, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.
10. Children
The site is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
11. Contact and changes
